Ready to show your artwork to 5,000+ people in one day at the Seattle Center? Submit your work for display at the Indigenous People Festival on June 13!
This event celebrates Indigenous excellence and cultures through performances, food, and art, and we’d like to feature your work in a special exhibit of Modern Indigeneity.

Are you an Indigenous artist who wants to share your work with a diverse audience? Bring it on! Do you create your work on skate decks or other unusual surfaces? Let’s see it! We’re open to all mediums, including textile art, carvings, paintings, jewelry art, and more.
Indigenous People Festival is produced by Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB), a health and human services organization based in the International District. You would be loaning your work to us for the weekend of June 12-15, along with any display stand or pedestal. A staff member from SIHB will be assigned to keep watch over the exhibit and we will make sure to have a member of our team assigned to care for the piece throughout its entire stay with us.
To submit your artwork:
· Please email photos of up to three artworks to communications@sihb.org. Images should be at least 800 dpi. Please include the artwork’s physical dimensions (length, width, and height).
· Write a two to three-line description of how each artwork embodies Modern Indigeneity.
· Images and text may be submitted until midnight on June 1. The artists selected to participate in this exhibit will be notified by June 5.
Questions? Email us at communications@sihb.org. Looking forward to seeing your personal expressions of Modern Indigeneity!
