KUOW Artcle: Walk-in opioid treatment is about to be even more robust in downtown Seattle

Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) CEO, Esther Lucero, and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Emily Ashbaugh, were interviewed by KUOW for a piece that ran on October 2, 2019 regarding the increase in opioid addiction treatment in Seattle.

SIHB has an outpatient Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program that provides services to approximately 300 patients. SIHB also provides services through its Substance Use Disorder program and inpatient treatment center—Thunderbird Treatment Center.
