We currently offer outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) substance use disorder SUD treatment for adults. Referrals to residential treatment services can be provided. Our SUD services are provided from our International District clinic.
Eligibility
To participate in our outpatient treatment programs, you must complete an SUD assessment and be 18 years of age or older.
Walk-in Assessments
We only offer walk-in assessments for those interested in SUD treatment.
Walk-in appointments cannot be scheduled.
Walk-in assessments are offered at our International District clinic every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You can check in at either 8:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m., and appointments can last up to three hours. These services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that we do not offer DUI assessments.
What to Expect & Bring
Before your assessment begins, you’ll need to complete onsite registration and provide a urine sample. We welcome all individuals, regardless of their insurance status. Please bring a photo ID, insurance information (if available), and any relevant contact details for a probation officer, CCO, attorney, or DSHS caseworker, if applicable.
Intensive outpatient/ Outpatient Programs Offered
ASAM LOC 2.1- Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) Program
Intensive outpatient treatment is for those who need extra support on their journey to wellness. This program offers:
- AI/AN curriculum from the White Bison, Inc., which offers hope and healing.
- Medical professional input
- Nutritional awareness
- Traditional Indian Medicine (TIM) healing through knowledge, values, and understanding.
- Individual SUD counseling
- Random drug screens required
Group treatment sessions occur three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Seattle Indian Health Board’s International District clinic.
ASAM LOC 1.0- Outpatient Treatment (OP) Program
This program offers:
- Specialized skill building to support you in achieving and maintaining sobriety, including building coping skills and distress tolerance, building sober support networks, and increasing physical wellness
- Group treatment once per week
- Individual SUD counseling
- Traditional Indian Medicine
- Random drug screens required
Group treatment sessions occur once a week on Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., or Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Seattle Indian Health Board’s International District clinic.
