2026 SpiritWalk & Warrior Run Wrap-Up

That’s a wrap on our 30th Annual SpiritWalk and Warrior Run!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our extra special 30th anniversary—nearly 200 participants showed up at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center! For 30 years, SpiritWalk & Warrior Run has been about more than walking or running. It’s about coming together, celebrating resilience, and investing in the health of our community.

Plenty of dogs joined us on the trails, and some were even dressed in SpiritWalk shirts and colorful ponchos! There were smiles all around as runners and walkers victoriously crossed the finish line.

A huge thanks to everyone who made this event happen. Whether you ran in the 5K, walked in the 2K, cheered for our participants, or came to support community—we’re incredibly grateful to you for coming out this weekend.

A special thank you to our incredible drum group, whose songs brought so much energy, strength, and spirit to the day. We also want to recognize the dedicated Indigenous artists, makers, and vendors who shared their talents and creations with our community. Your presence adds so much to this event!

We’d like to thank our partner Brooks Running, and our sponsors: Community Health Plan of Washington, Molina Healthcare, and the City of Seattle. Your generosity helps ensure we can continue to provide culturally grounded care and support the health and well-being of our relatives.

We can’t wait to see everyone next year!
