- Toys for Tots: Join our annual toy giveaway at Family Saturday! Toys are limited and available on a first come first served basis.
- Flu and Covid vaccines available (by appointment)
- Baby Drive Giveaway: Get to SIHB on Saturday and to get your baby essentials! We’ll have car seats, baby strollers, diaper bags available on a first come first served basis.
- Live art and teachings from renowned artist Speakthunder Berry (Nakota Sioux, Puyallup, Warm Springs, Aztec)
- Cradleboard class: We’re excited to welcome back Dr. Alayna Eagle Shield (Hunkpapa Lakota, Arikara) and Red Rock Perkins (Arikara, Yanktonai Dakota) for another cradleboard demo! Learn traditional cradleboard teachings and sign up for their upcoming 2-day workshop.
- Come visit Native Santa!
- Holiday crafts: Create a gift of love for your loved one! Decorate your own heart-shaped reindeer ornament or wooden holiday ornaments at Family Saturday.
- Hockey Ticket Raffle: We’re giving out 4 FREE tickets to the Seattle Torrent! The Indigenous Peoples Celebration game is at 2 pm on Dec. 21 (Sunday after Family Saturday). Watch Seattle’s newest women’s sports team take on the Boston Fleet at Climate Pledge Arena.
- Everyone who signs up for Family Saturday is automatically entered to win! SIHB staff will contact you by Saturday afternoon and let you know if you’re the winner!
- Free Hot Cocoa and Espresso Bar
- Fresh produce and meat distribution
