Family Practice Physician (.5 FTE)

Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) physicians are responsible for
the delivery of quality, culturally sensitive primary medical care
to the SIHB’s patient population. Physicians work under the
administrative supervision of the Medical Chief of Staff and
clinical supervision of the Medical Director.

This position is responsible for developing and implementing
individual and group outreach for children with the specific
intent of providing access to Medicaid and other DSHS
services.
Community Health Representative

As a member of the Clinic Services Team, the CHR is a
liaison between patients, families, the community and health
care providers to ensure patients and families understand
their conditions and treatment, and are receiving
appropriate care. The incumbent will also conduct education
and outreach activities primarily in patient homes.
Youth Outreach Specialist

The Youth Outreach Specialist is responsible for identifying
and engaging American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) youth
in services. This position will outreach and network with
schools and other agencies with AI/AN youth populations
including culture clubs, boys and girls clubs, juvenile
justice systems, etc. The primary purpose of outreach is to
help AI/AN youth succeed in school, training, jobs, and
other areas.
Temporary Patient Registration Technician

The Patient Registration Technician primary responsibilities
are to accurately collect and enter patient demographics and
other registration data into the Seattle Indian Health
Board's automated patient scheduling (electronic information
system). The Patient Registration Technician is mainly
responsible for maintaining and facilitating efficient
patient flow through the medical check-in process and for
verifying health/medical (insurance) coverage.
