ARNP Psychosocial Nurse (.5 FTE)

The ARNP functions in the medical clinic receiving referrals
from primary care providers, pharmacy and mental health
specialists. The ARNP conducts assessments, prescribes any
needed psychiatric medications and monitors the patient in
follow-up, in collaboration with the PCP and MH Specialist.

Provides culturally sensitive
nursing services to clients of Chief Seattle Club (CSC), a
program that addresses the needs of Seattle’s homeless,
low-income, and at risk Native population. Emphasis is on
providing skilled nursing care, health education, linkage to
primary care, and tuberculosis prevention. A summary of
duties include performing health assessments, preventative
care treatment, treatment for acute and chronic health
problems, individual or group health education, nursing case
management and client self management support. Serves as a
resource for CSC staff, works closely with Seattle Indian
Health Board’s mid-level provider, and maintains on site
operations. Must be able to work a Saturday schedule.
