Get Involved - You Can Make a Difference!

Your support is valued and appreciated!

Donations from our community and partners help us continue our mission to advocate for and provide health care services for Seattle/King County's Native population.

Giving Back to the Community

Each year, volunteers and donors give of their time, talents, and/or funds to help make an important difference in the lives of American Indians and Alaska Natives living in the greater Seattle area. The Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) envisions a time when all Indian people have healthy and successful lives. To work in moving this vision to reality, our mission is to advocate for, provide, and ensure culturally appropriate, high quality, and accessible health and human services to Natives.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our annual events include the Adeline Garcia Community Service Awards Luncheon, Indigenous Cultures Day at the Seattle Center, Halloween Health Fair, American Indian Week celebrations, Annual Urban Indian Health Conference, and SpiritWalk. We are always in need of volunteers to staff events, help with preparations, food service, and entertainment. Please visit our events section of this site for more information on each event. If you would like to volunteer in any capacity, please contact us!
