The two-day conference will be held from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm each day and will address how our current economic state impacts healthcare issues of American Indians and Alaska Natives, specifically in the areas of mental health and substance abuse.  You will have an opportunity to meet and network with healthcare providers and professionals; healthcare agencies; and local government, education, health, and social services representatives from across the nation.  The cost of the conference is $100 which includes a continental breakfast both days and lunch on day one.

Lodging:  A special group rate of $159 (king bed) or $169 (two double beds) has been reserved for conference participants at the Silver Cloud Broadway Hotel (located about 4 blocks from the conference site).  Click here to visit the hotel website.  To make reservations, call 1-800-590-1801.  Please mention that you are with the Seattle Indian Health Board group for your special rate.  Reservations must be received no later than Friday, July 10, 2009.  After this deadline, current hotel rates based on availability will apply.
