Medical Insurance:
Employees pay $25 dollars a month for employee only coverage
and 20% of the full premium for children. Additional
coverage for spouse or domestic partner is available as a
payroll deduction. Benefits available after the first day of
the month following 60 days of service.
Dental Insurance: Coverage
under Washington Dental Service includes employee and all
dependent children. Additional coverage for spouse or
domestic partner is available as a payroll deduction.
Available after the first day of the month following 60 days
of service.
Life Insurance: $30,000
policy for employee only. Available after the first day of
the month following 60 days of service.
Long-Term Disability: 50%
of salary after 120 days of disability. Employees may
purchase enhance coverage (60% of salary after 90 days of
disability) for a minimal monthly payroll deduction.
Available after the first day of the month following 60 days
of service.
403(b) Plan (Retirement):
Employer Match subject to change per annual SIHB budget.
Employee must work for 12 months and enter only during the
entry dates to receive matching benefits. Employee may start
contribution during an open enrollment period.
Vacation: 10 days per year;
increases with years of service. Maximum of 30 days per
year. Vacation is pro-rated for employees who work less than
1 FTE (40 hours).
Sick Leave: Accrual of 8
hours per month, Maximum at 240 hours per year. Sick Leave
will be pro-rated for employees who work less than 1 FTE (40
hours).
Holidays: Twelve (12) paid
holidays (including American Indian Day) for full time
employees (1 FTE). Holidays will be pro-rated for employees
who work less than 1 FTE (40 hours).
Training Leave: 40 hours
per year subject to supervisor's approval. 40 hours training
is also based off of full time employment (FTE).
Parking/Subsidized Bus Pass:
Limited parking available in garage and addition
designated parking area assigned by supervisor. Sounder
Transit Train, Ferry, and Metro passes are subsidized at a
generous percentage.
